A certainly interesting option, among those I offer in my photography services, is the possibility to post-process the selection of service photos by replicating the chromatic and tonal behavior of the films that have made the history of photography, some of which are still current.
The processing of files based on these models, obviously chosen and applied in a functionally congruent way to the described situation and keeping the grammar of the reportage linear, without stylistic breaks, for a pleasant narration with an always recognizable tone, is certainly an added value, because it is in fact a tribute to photographic art as it has gone through history. It will hardly tire, over the years, to see your photos developed on the basis of films that we still consider unsurpassed and, in some ways, therefore, immortal.
In the article “Wedding Photo Post-Processing” the topic is extensively discussed and I recommend reading it to all aspiring brides and grooms.
Below you can see some examples of photos processed with “film-style” post-production, obviously using a film model suitable to enhance the situation and type of shot (from skin tones to vegetation, including night shots).
